Ngwe Saung Beach

Ngwe Saung is one of Myanmar's most accessible beaches, and is a leisurely, scenic four-hour drive from the capital, Yangon.

Good roads passing through country towns, typical Myanmar villages, paddy fields, ponds and enclaves of huts add a special touch to the trip, providing intimate glimpses of every-day life in upper Myanmar.

The pristine beach nestles on the beautiful and legendary Bay of Bengal, near Pathein. The pure white sand sparkles under a clear blue sky and stretches for nine miles, making it Myanmar's longest beach. Thousands of gently waving palm trees create an environmental paradise and guarantee a back-to-nature experience.

The expanse of greenish-blue water with white foamy linen waves lapping onto the sandy beach completes the setting: a perfect beach for a perfect vacation.
