Getting Around

Visitors can also hire bicycles at some hotels and guest houses to roam around. The charges are taken per hour service. You must carry some water along with you while you go out with a bicycle.

Ferry boats can also be hired to flow in the Ayeyarwaddy. The ferry stand is near the Bu Pagoda. The views from the Ayeyarwaddy is also an interesting way to explore Bagan.

The horse cart together with the driver is also available. You can request for one through your hotel. Some prefer horse cart rather than the bicycles because of the heat in the afternoon. Horse carts are popular ways travelling around Bagan.

There are also day-use car rental services for those who wants to roam around in cars.
