Myanmar Food
Akyaw (A variety of fried vegetables)
Ingredients
- A packet of paste powder
- potato
- gourd
- banana
- eggplant
- small prawns
- some salt oil (You can add as many
vegetables as you want.)
How to cook
First we have to make some paste to stick the
vegetables. So, put the paste powder in a bowl and
pour a little water. Put some salt too. Stir until
all the powder turn into paste. The paste should be

into the paste and then into the frying pan. Fry
these until they turn a bit red. Then it is ready to
serve with any tomato or chili sauce.

It can be serve with some fresh juice, or plain
tea. This is a favourite Myanmar snack for the
afternoon.
