Legyun Manaung Pagoda

It was built by Glass Palace Master @ King Sunday @ King Sinbyushin in 1094. According to fables, Buddha and Young Brother Ananda went on tour by air in that area, where they met 500 ogres and preached a sermon where-upon they became enlightened.

The place was earlier called Sotapan, hence its name Sotapan Pagoda. In the cave pagoda, there was a huge image of Buddha encircled by the ogres and was so named Legyun Manaung Pagoda.
