Yangon International Airport (Mingalardon
Airport) and Mandalay International Airport are the
main gateways and there are direct air-links
connecting Yangon with Thailand, Singapore,
Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, China, Taiwan, Qatar
and Bhutan.

Yangon.
Through Border Pass
There are also border area tourism promotions in
Myanmar. With a Border Pass, tourists from Yunnan
have been allowed to enter Lweje, Namkhan, and Muse.
Organized groups can travel to Yangon via Lashio and
Mandalay. Day return Thai-Myanmar cross-border
traffic is also allowed at Myawaddy,
Three-Pagoda-Pass and Kawthaung. One still has to
travel to reach Yangon from the destination.
