Ocean Pearl Inn, Nice Budget Hotel
We had a quiet, clean room, with plenty of hot water in the real shower. Real inner-spring mattresses, good A/C, small refrigerator. Breakfast from 1 egg to 2 eggs, lots of fruit. No elevator, but some rooms on ground floor (only 2 floors to 3 floors). I'd estimate 20 minutes walking to the city center. Friendly and helpful staff, Free airport transfer on arrival. They let us keep our room past checkout time on departure day. Small grocery store next door (cold pasteurized milk, a bonus for me).

Budget Guest House for Tourist
Located at city Business area, 10 minute walk to Sule Pagoda. This hotel is exceptionally brilliant & probably the best I ever stayed. Rates are affordable & standard is high. 10 us for single and 15 us for Double with attach bathroom and Ai cond. Staffs are outstanding and very helpful for touring around Myanmar. High speed Internet cafe located at front Building.

Tour Information, Business information provided, Close to Historic Botataung Pagoda Road. High speed Internet cafe at the front building. [Only one where the yahoo mail and hot mail can be sent.]

Quiet location, but easy access city centre, rooms spotless, air condition, and  plenty of hot water. Staff, nothing too much trouble, friendly and informative reception, value for money...great.

The people are very courtesy and provide you with everything you need. They have all the informations about the city and they will help you with anything and anytime you need. This is the kind of place I will like to go again. I enjoy staying in this hostel and I recommended everyone to try it. I will be staying again if I visit there again.

a friendly clean guesthouse with comfortable rooms and a homely atmosphere. the free airport pick up is great as all the places of interest are pointed out.
there was no problem with leaving my backup here when i went to Mandalay.
