Ingredients

  • 30 – stringbeans – washed
  • ¼ cup – sliced garlic
  • ½ cup – sliced onions
  • ½ tsp – salt
  • ½ cup – shrimp sauce
  • 1½ tbsp – sesame seeds. roasted
  • ½ cup – crushed pea nuts. roasted
  • 5 cups – water
  • 1 cup – oil – for frying garlic and some onions

How to cook

In one cup of oil first fry the garlic until it is slightly golden and strain it. Then fry the onions in the same pan until it is slightly golden and strain it. Boil the 5 cups of water. When it boils. put in the stringbeans for about 7 minutes. drain and immediately immerse in ice water for about 15 minutes. Strain the stringbeans from ice water. Cut into ¾ inch lengths and lightly squeeze out the water.

To prepare the salad

In a separate bowl put in all the cut stringbeans. add 1 tbsp of oil. salt. shrimp sauce. sesame seeds. sugar powder and sliced fried garlic and marinate. Put into the serving bowl and sprinkle the fried onions.
