Mandalay to Bagan and Bagan to Mandalay
AYEYARWADDY EXPEDITION
The cruises leave at Gawwin Jetty in Mandalay and travel upstream to reach Bagan. On the way to its destination passes Mingun and Sagaing. The cruises travel on the Mighty Ayeyarwaddy.
It takes about 2 hours to reach Mingun. It takes about another 2 hours from Mingun to Sagaing. Mingun and Sagaing are also the main places of Myanmar Culture. Then the cruise takes about one night to reach Bagan. With the sunrise of Bagan the cruise reaches the destination. It stops at Shwekunchar jetty in Bagan.
During the whole journey. there are deck performances of Myanmar Traditional Dances and Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. Tea. Coffee. Water are supplied. There are also stops and visits at popular places.
The way back to Mandalay also takes the same route as the way to Bagan.
