The Myanmar Airways International, Thai Airways International, Silk Air, Biman, Aerofloat, Air France , Air China (CAAC), KLM, Lao Aviation Airlines, India MB, Qatar Airways, PIA, Royal Brunei Airlines, MINippon Airways, JAL, MAS, EVA Pacific Cargo Service, Condor Airline, Druk-Air, Italian Airline Service, Asian Wings Airways, Air Bagan and Air Mandalay operate scheduled flights in and out of Yangon.
There are also border area tourism promotions in Myanmar. With a Border Pass, tourists from Yunnan have been allowed to enter Lweje, Namkhan, and Muse. Organized groups can travel to Yangon via Lashio and Mandalay. Day return Thai-Myanmar cross-border traffic is also allowed at Myawaddy, Three-Pagoda-Pass and Kawthaung. One still has to travel to reach Yangon from the destination.
