Meals: Lunch
In the morning, drive about 45 mins across the Bago River from Yangon to Thanlyin (Syriam). It was an important trading center in the 17th Century under the Portuguese Adventurer De Brito. Explore the ruins of the Old Portuguese Churches in the center of town, the ruins of a Catholic church built by an Italian Barnabite missionary .Visit Kyaik-Khauk Pagoda; it perches on the hillock of the town, an imposing golden stupa similar to the Shwedagon with a history dated back over 2,000 years. Later, proceeds to Ye Le Kyauk-Tan Pagoda which is set on a tiny island amidst the middle stream of Yangon’s river. Then, transfer to a local restaurant and taste Burmese traditional lunch with rice & curries.

In the afternoon, drive back to Yangon and visit Bogyoke Aung San Market. Then, visit to the most famous Shwedagon, which is the most revered shrine in the country. It is the dream of all Burmese people to see this pagoda at least once in their lifetime. And transfer to your Hotel.
